German Press Days 2011

I just got back from Berlin, which is why I can only now share my impressions of the Press Days with you. Above are my favourite pieces from the shown spring/summer collections for 2012. From top to bottom: Lala Berlin with its amazing fluorescent prints (stripes and stars), jeans by Avelon (I will definitely get it - can't wait!), lovely prints by Rika, leopard jeans by Thu Thu (brilliant isn't it?!), jacket by Augustin Teboul, blouse by Weekday (I hardly ever wear colours but I love this one!), jewellery by Sabrina Dehoff, waistcoat by 5Preview. I am quite excited now and have a lot of things on my list for spring/summer 2012.

Closet Visit

I am a huge fan of Jeana Sohn's closet visit. The ladies she visits are so cool, creative and beautiful – I could browse her photos for hours. Above are some of my favourite images.

Rich Gemmell's illustration

Aren't these amazing? I think Rich Gemmell's illustrations look like miniature worlds under a bell jar. Very inspiring!

Canvas walls

It's getting darker and duller outside every day – so this interior idea is right on time. Maybe I should paint parts of the living room wall in mint green or pink to make it more colourful during winter ...

Simple Nail Art

I am not a fan of so-called "nail art" – but I found a simple yet très chic style to wear when I don't feel like bright colours but don't want to go without nail polish either. Very easy to do: apply glitter nail polish to the tips of your nails, then cover it with top coat. Tada!

Sparkle sparkle sparkle

How does Topshop always have what I want? Glitter boots ”Ambush" in light and dark. Glitter Brogues "Klaxon" in silver and black. So Disco-Dandy-Glam-Rock.

Patterns in Autumn

Together with the leo coat I also got a scarf by Clarissa Labin. They are both from last season, by the way, but I have had my eyes on the scarf for a while and I was pretty happy to find it again (here).
(The shoes I am wearing here are a bit older as well – suede boots by Cox).

Allo darlin'

In the movie of our lives, would Woody Allen write the screenplay?
This song's a bit old to share it with you, but it's too sweet not to. I love it. (And it reminds me: I need to learn to play the ukulele).

Grey cat

Alright, I admit it, I am slightly obsessed with grey leo prints. This coat joins several scarves and a long cardigan in my wardrobe. I have also seen matching knitted gloves and a hat, which I cannot get out of my head ...
The coat is by the Berlin based label Kaviar Gauche, by the way.
