Hej Älsklingar! I hope you have all had a merry Christmas. After several lovely family dinners, gift giving and getting and other holiday pleasantries, I am know thinking about my New Year's party outfit. One idea: dress by Asos, leather jacket by Balenciaga , shoes by Topshop, and vintage crystal necklace.

Paw prints in the snow

I just received this in a Christmas mailing from the Design Museum and I had to share it with you. By the brilliant Donna Wilson, whom I have mentioned earlier here.

1988 Jewellery

Last weekend I encountered a new jewellery label: 1988 Jewellery, you've got a new fan! The sterling silver and gold pieces are designed by Lilli Sachse from Hamburg. I am especially taken with the silver stud necklace, earrings and ring! They're the ideal combination of edgy, elegant, cool and puristic! (And I also just love pyramid studs).

Fashion Fantasy

This may be my favourite Vogue Cover of all times: Kate Moss on the December 2008 issue of British Vogue. It was photographed by Nick Knight and Kate is wearing dreamlike Dior Couture. The proper amount of Kitsch I need in December.

Sunday outfit

Here's a snapshot of what I was wearing on Sunday. The coat is a biker-jacket-inspired "manteau" by Sandro (do you remember it?), the shoes are old vintage boots (it was pretty wet outside, because it had snowed the other day. Also, I still cannot wear high heels), the blue hat is very warm, and the bag ... is my favourite version of "Alexa" (the leather has this amazing blue shimmer) by Mulberry – I will have to tell you more about it later.

Mood Board

I am still at home with a useless ankle/foot, which is why I had to cancel pretty much all of my plans and which is also the reason why I am unable to post any outfit-pictures at the moment. So here's a selection of mood images instead. (I would love to wear this Dannijo necklace for Christmas).

Black Pearl

Voilà some more silver and leather accessories I'd immediately put on my wish list: silver ear studs and ring by Marc by Marc Jacobs (star earrings, I need you), bag by Proenza Schouler, quilted gloves by Alexander Wang, man coat by Dolce & Gabbana (my favourite type of jacket this winter), nail polish "Black Pearl" by Chanel, and print "Secret Garden" by Michelle Armas.

Le Chat & Co.

I recommend for interior styling and christmas gift inspiration: Bodie & Fou. They sell lovely prints (by Bold & Noble, among others, who also polish up my walls), fashion accessories, furniture, ... and they've got a blog, in which they share personal highlights.

A lighter shade of blonde

I got a new haircut and colour today. It might look exactly like my old one to you – but actually a hundred different details have changed entirely. ;)

Disco Dancer

Here's a very early wishlist for Christmas: sweaters by Sandro, leather shorts by Alexander Wang (well, it wouldn't have to be Wang. I am just looking for a nice pair of leather shorts), necklace by Dannijo, star earrings by Catbird, bags by Alexander Wang (you know that decisions aren't one of my strengths).

Another fashion question

It's not just the biker jacket ... I need a new coat and we've got three candidates: an oversized blazer by Zara, a crazy hybrid of leather jacket and coat by Sandro, and an oversized jacket by Pins & Needles via UO. Decisions, decisions.

New friend

As it's getting colder outside I am trying to make my home as cosy as possible. Newest addition: this sweet and very illuminative white rabbit.

Overknee Boots

I won't be able to wear these boots for a while because I had an operation on my ankle, but they make me happy nonetheless because I was really lucky to get them. They're Vagabond from the last winter season and apparently they had been waiting for me all that time.
