Beauty favourites

I always talk about new things in this blog, so I thought it's time I show you some basics that I use nearly every day. My favourite scents: "Chance" by Chanel, "Flowerbomb" by Viktor & Rolf, "Chloé" by Chloé, mascara by Lancôme, lip sticks by Chanel (my new colour is called "Flirt"), nail polish in Mint Green by Essie, Neon Pink by American Apparel, and Greige by Uslu Airlines.

Sneak peek: Frenzy

So after April, May, and June it's back to Greige in autumn/winter 2012: Chanel's "Frenzy". But for now I am looking forward to spring colours.

Wild & Blue

I swear this is the last piece with a graphic leopard print that I have bought (I now own a coat, scarf, cardigan, sweatshirt, two pairs of jeans, and a hat). But I couldn't say no to these blue jeans by Silence + Noise (I got them at Urban Outfitters). What I'm wearing with them: T-Shirt by Marc by Marc Jacobs, boots by Acne, vintage silver belt, cape which I knitted myself.

Spring colours

This week, for the first time this year, it felt like spring is coming (it's about time). So I put together an outfit to welcome it. (I know, the weather and trees in the photo don't look very much like spring, but the sun came out sometimes and it was definitely warmer). Sweater: Acne (the colour is called "Jade"), rosé top: COS, jeans: Zara, jacket: Topshop, bag: Mulberry, watch: Triwa.

Hands

Today's inspiration: hands, nail colour and rings. If you ask me, the Dior Oui ring (in the top photo) is one of the most beautiful rings ever made. And by the way, I am wearing my nails in this pink and coral colour mix today.

saturday snapshots

My afternoon through hipstamatic: reading ELLE (which I bought in Sweden), drinking cherry blossom tea, a shopping trip with my favourite Alexa bag, fresh flowers.

My heart is black

New addition to my wardrobe: T-Shirt by 5 Preview. I love the Ace print (as much as I like the inspiration). And it also says (in very small print): "Love will tear us apart".

Shopping list summer 2012

Here's what is currently on my fashion wish list: a denim shirt (like this one from Topshop), printed skinny jeans (like these from Iro), a variation of the biker jacket because I always fall in love with biker jackets (this one is from Acne), neon jewellery (like this necklace from Shourouk), the new "star boots" by Acne, a neon clutch (like this one by American Apparel), and statement sunglasses (Karen Walker shown again).
Some of this I am going to make myself. I will keep you posted.

Pinterest philosophising

I wasn't quite aware how much I am into the colour pink and neon, until I saw my Pinterest boards. What a nice tool for self-reflection. ;)

I feel an inexplicable attraction towards blue dyed accessories and clothes (like these, for instance, or this scarf), so naturally Scout & Catalogue immediately won me over with their new collection. I can't wait for it to launch.
