October wishlist

With this post I confirm what I said about the renaissance of my teenage wardrobe. Yes, the plaid skirt, too, is back. However, today I'd like to wear it as a longer, more feminine, less school girl skirt. And definitely I need a pair of heavy, boyish loafers to go with it. From top to bottom: sunglasses by Miu Miu, opal ring by wwake (I am obsessed with opals! Aren't they the most beautiful stones on this planet?!), jumper by Tibi, plaid skirt by Steffen Schraut, bag by Saint Laurent, and shiny tassle loafers by Mellow Yellow

By the way: I have added a lot of new things to MY STORE – Lala Berlin, Zara, Le Specs, Topshop, French Connection, Pilgrim ... Go check it out!

Teen spirit

In my early teens I used to own a black suede and shearling coat (anybody remember H&M's brand "Rocky"?), while my preferred boots were black Doc Martens. It seems like fashion history is repeating itself on a personal level, too.
Above you can see one of my favourite looks of the moment. I feel so comfortable in my new lace up boots (a Zara bargain!) and that H&M shearling jacket (I'm so in love with its oversize egg shape. ... I'm afraid I'll have to ignore my boyfriend's opinion here. Men don't seem to understand this look). The colour block jumper is by Hush – I've featured all of the named pieces before here –, the jeans are old Baxters by Topshop and the bag is Proenza Schouler.

New season favourites

If you've seen my September wishlist you will know that I am very much in love with black and grey basics (yet again). So it's no surprise that the items I added to my wardrobe this season make a perfect monochrome ensemble. These are my current favourites (preferably worn with skinny black leather trousers): oversized shearling jacket (or rather: coat, if you're about my height) from H&M's studio collection, block jumper by Hush and Proenza Schouler PS1 wallet on a chain, chunky silver bangles and rings, lace-up boots by Zara, and handmade scandi style wool jumper (Danke, Mama!).

Instagram diary

Lately on my Instagram account: feel in love with the crystals over at @crystaltonic, tried a new restaurant in town, found new love (again) at Zara, still fig season (it's always Vogue-season), heavy metal, and a sartorial blue phase.

Jewellery edit

I believe that jewellery plays an important role for personal style (as I'm sure I've made clear in this blog). I'd feel naked if I ever left the house without my carefully selected - and personal favourite - pieces of jewellery I wear every day. Which is why I thought it's time for another round of a jewellery edit.
Voilà a selection of outstanding – and quite affordable – adornments. From top to bottom: diamond earring by Stone Paris (I love this brand, one of its pieces is very high on my wishlist), Axis ring by Pamela love, stud bracelet by Eddie Borgo, bow ring by Balenciagaear cuff by Ca&Lou, lightning bolt earrings by Aamaya by Priyanka, diamond ear stud by Jacquie Aiche, and bow bracelet by Balenciaga
