The statement sweater
One thing that is an absolute must in your wardrobe this season is at least one luxurious sweatshirt. You can get them by many designers, but I found the perfect one by Emma Cook – it's black, navy blue (I love these two colours mixed together), white and read, it has accentuated shoulders and it sports silky roses. One of the best buys I've made this season! You can find it via Donna Ida (I recommend you go one size up from your usual size). Here I'm wearing it with Acne skinny jeans, Chloé Susanna boots and my Chanel flap.

Blue and white outfit
Here's what I wore today: a cotton shirt by BikBok, jeans by Zara (from last year) and Liberty Vans.

In between look
Not warm enough yet (!) to go outside without a jacket, but don't want to wear my winter coats anymore. Here's another outfit idea for this in-between-weather. Sunglasses by The Row, sweatshirt by Rag & Bone, bomber jacket by Acne, leather leggings by Muuba, palm tree clutch by Kenzo (to make your days a bit more tropical), sneakers by Saint Laurent, necklace by Dannijo, and coconut water, which you need to carry around because it matches your clutch.

London: a little city guide – part 2
Judging by my photos it seems like we did nothing but eat and drink in London (sometimes interrupted by some shopping). But actually – granted, we did eat quite a lot – I just didn't take that many photos while walking around the streets and parks. So here are some more recommendations from me for you: have breakfast (whenever, they serve breakfast 24/7) at The Breakfast Club, Albion (they also have a really nice grocery shop and bakery) and/or Ozone Coffee. I loved all of them! Visit the skate park and skate board corner at Selfridges. Make sure to check out the London Edition Hotel, which only opened last year and which features one of the most beautiful Hotel lobbies/bars I've ever seen. When there, have a cocktail and dinner at Berner's Tavern (make a reservation) – it's marvellous. We had such a great night! Not only because it was a birthday night, but also because another birthday party in the restaurant sent over some divine chocolate cake to our table, and we had a really nice chat with the people at the neighbouring table. When in need of some relaxation and greenery, go for a stroll in Hyde Park or Kensington Gardens. When you walk through the parks to Kensington High Street you can do some grocery shopping or refuel with a green smoothie at Whole Foods (when do they finally come to Germany?).

London: a little travel guide - part 1
Over the weekend I finally got the chance to visit London again. It had been too long! The occasion was a very good one: a holiday birthday-getaway (not for my birthday). Of course I'd like to share some of my favourite places with you – though this can by no means be a complete list. But I am planning to share my personal Google maps city guide, which includes my favourite shops, restaurants, bars, cafés and hotels, with you soon.
For now, let's start with the place we stayed in: ACE Hotel in Shoreditch, which only opened last year. It has its own very comfortable coffee shop, a beautiful little flower shop and it also houses Hoi Polloi, a restaurant that I can recommend for breakfast, lunch, dinner and midnight snacks (above you can see the incredible chocolate stout cake with salted caramel and caramel crackers).
One of our first stops in the city centre was, unsurprisingly, Liberty, where I got – somewhat deliberately, to some extent accidentally – lost in the various fashion sections and found a souvenir to take home with me.
In my next post I'll share more places for breakfast, dinner, shopping and general fun-having.
