Summer uniform: Cecilie Jorgensen a.k.a. Cecilie Copenhagen

I love it when you come across "new" designers that you hadn't heard of before on Instagram or blogs. Cecilie Jorgensen's website is not up and running yet, but you can follow her on Instagram. I absolutely need this black and white combo for summer! It looks so comfortable and cool! But one of the colourful shirts would be nice, too. I hope I can tell you more about the designs soon.

If you follow me on Tumblr and/or Pinterest, you will know where my mind is currently wandering. I think I really need to book a flight asap. If you need more of this, here you go.

Black leather, Boy bag & bandana

This is a typical outfit that combines many of my closet favourites – black skinny jeans (these ones by Zara), a grey T-Shirt (by Olive), biker jacket (by Balenciaga), Acne Donna boots, and my Chanel Boy bag. I added a black bandana scarf and – as always – a lot of jewellery (the necklaces are by Julie Sandlau for Pieces and 1988 the earrings are by Catbird).

My must-haves for spring 2014

One of my favourite collections for this spring was Marc Jacob's final ready-to-wear collection for Louis Vuitton. I really like the loose-fit jeans paired with the transparent, partly embellished black shirts. These two items are definitely on the top of my wishlist for spring. What you also need to update your wardrobe to s/s 14: pointed flats like these by McQ Alexander McQueen, a beautiful tull bra – La Perla makes the best – that peeks out under transparent shirts, obviously you also need said shirts like this Givenchy T-Shirt – which brings you two trends in one: it combines the current sporty trend with the sheer trend – or this romantic one by Isabel Marant, a leather backpack – this one is by Elizabeth and James – white sunglasses like these by Acne, and sculptural jewellery like these rings by Maria Black. About the jeans: I think Acne's Pop Betty are perfect.

The tote bag

Don't get me wrong, I still love my satchel "school" bags à la Proenza Schouler PS1 or Mulberry Alexa. But I've grown up. School's over, I'm working (and have been for several years), so it's about time a get a proper business tote bag. One that fits folders and the like, you know what I mean. Since, unfortunately, I have not inherited a vintage Birkin bag from any family member, I have to look elsewhere. Above are my four favourite models – Prada, Chanel, Saint Laurent and Fendi. (Note that the above Fendi is a special Peekaboo monster version, which, I think, is already sold out). Sadly, none of them is attainable for me at the moment. But anyway, what do you think of them?

Jewellery love: Trine Tuxen

If you have been reading this blog for a while, you might know that I foster a big love for simple designs with an edge. So naturally Scandinavia is my design heaven! Take the young jewellery designer Trine Tuxen, for instance. I fell in love with her new jewellery collection the minute I saw it – especially with the logo silver necklace that you can also see in this editorial here. But her bullet rings and harlekin earrings would also become my new staples. The collection is available in Adélie's shop. Photos by Adélie and Mielmonmiel (middle one).

Last week on Instagram

Last week I celebrated a little neckparty (if you can't decide which necklace to wear, just wear them all),  I tried to stick to my clean eating ambition (it's always easy in the morning as I'm a huge Müsli and fruit fan, but it get's progressively more difficult in the course of the day), I bought some flowers (best means against the dreary weather outside), I had my hair cut (it's not quite a bob, but definitely shorter – and lighter), wore my pink angora sweater again, and I made my first green spinach and avocado smoothie (of course these weren't the only ingredients - I also used apple, ginger, pineapple, a bit of coconut water and maca powder).
