Encore une fois ... Paris ...

I do not mean to bore you but I had a look at the photos from my long weekend in Paris again today – and I found some more that I wanted to share with you ...

Since the weather here in Germany is still not how we want it to be in spring, I think we are in need of some more inspirational images to keep up the good mood (instaspring is also always helpful).

Waiting for the sun

I can't wait for the temperatures to rise so I can wear my new Kooples Paisley shirt and my new Isabel Marant Bobby sneakers (yes, I was lucky, I actually found a pair in Paris!). Another souvenir which I got in Paris is this blue Macramé bracelet from Siloha. I discovered their boutique in Le Marais and I wanted to buy almost everything - the jewellery is so pretty! On the same photo you can also see my printed dress which I got from Asos. I've already worn it with tights and a cardigan (see here), but it'll be so much nicer to wear it with sandals in summer.

The Iro bomber

From the lookbook and campaign photos it didn't catch my attention but when I saw this Iro jacket in the Paris boutique it was love. The neon colours of the embroideries are really vibrant so it makes the perfect eye catcher for summer. Unfortunately, the jacket is sold out in France and online (I am too late!). ... It would look nice with a dress or (in spring) with skinny jeans, pumps (these ones are from Zara), the beautiful "etoile" Sandro shirt, and some neon accessories like these sunglasses. Travel notes: Paris

Ahhh, I want to go back already. I had a wonderful long weekend in Paris - including many extensive strolls (mainly around Saint Germain, Le Marais and along the Seine), several Espressos in classic brasseries, delicious French pastries and desserts (I had the best salted caramel ice cream I could imagine. It was dreamlike! If you ask, I will tell you where you can find it ...), stops at Isabel Marant, Ladurée (of course - who could resist these dreamy pastels?), Merci and many many small boutiques, and even some sunshine. We stayed at Villa d'Estrees, which I wholly recommend. During our wanderings around the plenty alleyways of Paris I made some great discoveries some of which I will tell you about later. Stay tuned. ;) ... The only difficult moment on this trip was when I went to a Louis Vuitton boutique and they actually still had the Sofia Coppola bag I have been lusting after for years! I held it for a precious moment and then handed it back to the shop assistant (innerly in tears). Maybe, some day ...

Instaspring

When I look out my window I still see snow instead of blossoms and flowers. Luckily Instagram helps with a little dose of spring. Photos from: lenaperminova, sandrajuto, sandrabeijer and elinkling.

Navy & Red

Blue and red is a lovely combination, I think. Isabel Marant's navy blue star-embroidered trousers are the perfect start. Then you could add her "Noah" sweatshirt, red pumps (they have to be pointed now), Miu Miu's two-tone bag (it also comes in pink - so sweet!), Illesteva sunglasses (I just love this shape!) and of course a studded Valentino bracelet is never wrong.

New love

My new everyday companion: the "Love lasso" ring by Zoe and Morgan in sterling silver. Isn't it beautiful? I got it here.

Une pensée de Paris

Several years ago I spent three lovely days in Paris with my Mom. We did a lot of classic touristy girl-stuff (Versailles, La Tour Eiffel by night, Macarons, Crêpes, a visit to Chanel ...) and we had the best weather you could imagine in spring (above are some photos from that trip). Now I am finally going again, just for pleasure, next weekend. I am so excited - and I can promise you a lot of photos when I return.
