Untitled neon
I went to look at an exhibition by Anselm Reyle yesterday - it was impressing and inspiring. I feel I need to get myelf some neon colours and holographic varnish to paint with now. Above you can see what I wore.

Instagramming
See, I knew it. Nothing but flowers, cake, my own shoes, food, etc. on my profile since I joined Instagram. If you'd like to follow me anyway you can find me here.

Bekket love
It's still icy cold, so I couldn't leave the house without a hat. But my massive wool cardigan from American vintage also helps. I wore it with my leopard coat from Kaviar Gauche, my new T-Shirt from The Kooples (a sales find) ... aaaand my Isabel Marant Bekkets. Crazy story: I actually found a girl online who had also bought the wrong size – the perfect size for me, while I had bought her size. And so we swapped! Hurrah!

Sporty-spacy
Metallics, tie-dye, space graphics and a bright colour - what more can you ask for? Current/Elliott jeans, Lala Berlin "space cat" sweater, Miu Miu sneakers, Proenza Schouler bag, rings by Natalie Marie Jewellery and a pink cashmere hat by Headhunter.

On a cold Wednesday
Here's what I wore on this cold January day: My loyal Sandro coat, a handmade beanie and handmade jumper, "customised" Topshop jeans (which basically means I destroyed the fabric with a pair of scissors), a vintage belt, Acne boots and Proenza Schouler bag.

Obsessed with hats?
Don't worry, I am not going to turn this into one of those blogs that only reblog images, like theyallhateus, for instance (which I love, by the way). But I noticed that I had been collecting photos of hats and wanted to share them with you. Don't they look brilliant?

I did it
I know, I always said I didn't want to join Instagram – firstly because it terribly annoys me when you cannot have a coffee (let alone breakfast, cake or fruit salad) with people without everybody photographing their food (which makes any conversation impossible). And secondly because I knew that if I started instagramming I wouldn't add anything new to it anyway (nothing but coffee, breakfast and fruit salad). But I did it anyway and if you like you can follow me here.

Which one?
Two finds in the sale: two-colour blazer by The Kooples and guipure jacket by Zara. Trying to decide which one to keep ...

Miranda Skoczek
It's been a while since I last showed you the work of an artist I admire (like Olivia Steele, for instance, Conny Dreher, Michael Cina, or Yago Hortal). Above you can see some pictures by the Australian painter Miranda Skoczek. Very colourful, quite feminine and totally cool.

Shop my wardrobe
Just to let you know: I have added more items to my shop. Vintage Cowboy boots, a college baseball jacket and - sad but true - I am actually selling the Isabel Marant shoes I only just posted here. Unfortunately I had to admit to myself that the size is slightly too large for me. My bad luck is your luck.

New in: Isabel Marant
Yesterday I went to one of my favourite shops in Hamburg to pick up the Christmas gift I had made myself: Hello Isabel Marant Bekett! I bought the shoes by phone while I was home for Christmas – and I'm glad I did, because they sold out within two hours! I can't wait to wear them (sorry I can only show you blurry photos for now, I'll try to take better pictures soon). And being exposed to all those "sale" signs I ended up getting a T-Shirt from The Kooples, which was marked down. So much about resisting the sale ...

Rethinking the piercing
In its February issue VOGUE UK is paying tribute to the body piercing as a mainstream accessory. The corresponding photographs show jewellery by Venus by Maria Tash. I love the label's very delicate diamond ear studs and ear rings. If I had more holes in my ears and more asset on my bank account I would get and wear all the above.
