Yesterday's outfit: my second pair of tie-dye jeans by Silence and Noise (there are still two sizes left in the sale), boots by Acne, belt by Asos, bag by Proenza Schouler, and my much-loved biker jacket.

Fifi Case

I totally forgot to show you my iPhone case. You might have noticed it on my photos from California ... it's Fifi Lapin! I got it here. Since I had the silver leather case first, I am now using both. Double protection. ;)

My lovely sister came to visit last weekend and gave me this heart necklace for my birthday. I am wearing it with my vintage crystal and my mini star necklace.

Sun was high (so was I)

Since the German weather, as usually, is still making me wait for summer, I can only put together this outfit in my mind and hope that I will get to wear it some day soon: Ksubi shorts, Sandro top, Soludos espadrilles (I love the prints), Illesteva sunnies, Chan Luu bracelets, and beautiful embroidered Star Mela bags (I couldn't decide which one I like better).

In the kitchen

I don't always have the time for it, but I love cooking and baking. At the moment I'm very much in the mood to try out new recipes (as always vegetarian and vegan). Food blogs are a great inspiration. Two of my favourites are Roost (pictures 1-3) and Always With Butter (pictures 4 and 5) – because of their tasty food and their amazing photography. Enjoy!

Some of my holiday souvenirs and birthday gifts that I like a lot: 1) lace bras by Top Secret (black) and Cosabella (coral), "Wild Fig & Cassis" scent by Jo Malone (I love figs!), 2) embroidered shorts by Free People, 3) tiny silver alphabet rings, 4) denim cut offs by Siwy, 5) lovely things for my home – an A, scented heart and a clay bird (from this beautiful shop).

California cruising

Above some impressions from my vacation in California, where I spent the last two weeks: the ACE Hotel in Palm Springs, me in the bathroom of Chateau Marmont (wearing my new jeans and my new bag which I got at Opening Ceremony), Opening Ceremony and The Reformation in L.A., delicious Flan with strawberries and pistacio crumble (at flour + water), Venice Beach, and Frozen Yoghurt. I had such a great time!
