Chiffon Skirt & Grandma's watch

Sorry for all the double and triple outfit pictures (I'm a Gemini, maybe that's why) - but I just wanted to show you this pretty skirt from American Apparel. I know, it looks like nothing special - but: it's actually exactly the skirt I've been looking for because it's made of such a soft chiffon material that swings when you're walking. Also, it goes perfectly with Breton shirts (and knee high socks in autumn, and bowler hats, and kitty coats, and huge knitted jumpers, and basically anything I'd like wear next season). The watch/necklace was given to me by my grandma (she did not like it anymore - lucky me).

Exhibition in Berlin: Face/projects

If you happen to be in Berlin in September or October 2010 go see the exhibition "Face/Projects" in the gallery Camera Work. It's a collaboration between the photographer Michelangelo Di Battista and the illustrator Tina Berning. I admire them both and I'm sure it's amazing to see their creativity combined.

A Nice weekend

After dreaming of the Côte d'Azur for weeks, I eventually flew to Nice last weekend for a short summer holiday with a friend. We got to swim in a bay with white sailing boats, strolled around la vieille ville de Nice, went to Antibes and Monaco, had tasty food and drank Pastis in beautiful narrow streets.

What rain in August makes me think of (fashionwise)...

Of course I detest rainy days in August, but this early autumn gives me ideas for outfits I'd like to wear (later this year). For instance: this Parka, socks and skirt by Topshop, blouse by Acne (via Mytheresa), vintage style tote by Gucci (via Farfetch), boots by Buffalo, lace necklace by White Owl (via White Owl's Etsy shop).
