New bag and neck scarf

When I recently went to Oxford I found this school bag in one of my favourite vintage stores and the neck scarf in Cath Kidston. I love the cute print with popular London sights. And of course I had to get a copy of i-D as well. It's one of my favourite magazines.

Côte d'Azur - What I'd like to wear

I booked a flight to Nice (yes! Sunshine!). Here's what I'd like to wear for a long weekend on the Côte d'Azur: floral dress from 3.1 Phillip Lim, cotton dress from Steven Alan, sandals from Paloma Barceló, all via Net-a-porter, Sea Bag via Farfetch, sun hat and flats from Topshop, bracelet from Whistles, seahorse necklace from Clara Francis, Rayban sunglasses and Chanel le vernis in "Riviera".

In case you've been dreaming of a vintage Chanel bag, here are some online shops for you to look at: 1) Vintage-Paris not only offers an impressive collection of bags, but also vintage jewellery, 2) Matches has a fine selection of bags, and 3) Malleries offers new as well as vintage models. Enjoy!

Georgia in Vogue China

I just found these beautiful photos from the July 2010 issue of Vogue China at Fashion Gone Rogue. I love the books and her pink nails and lips. The shoot was photographed by Max Vadukul and the model is, obviously, Georgia May Jagger.

Some colourful/ sweet things I saw in London

arm candy

My favourite collection of bracelets, which I wear almost every day. The silver bracelets are from Tiffanys, the black and silver one is from Whistles, the leather bracelet is from Tokyo Jane, and the watch is from DKNY. My shirt in the right picture is Whistles as well.

dreaming of summer beaches

The weather's been so bad lately, I think I might need a beach holiday this year. I can hardly remember when I last had one ...

Kokeshi doll

On a stroll around my new neighbourhood I found this little Kokeshi doll in a boutique that sells interior decoration. Isn't it the cutest Japanese girl ever? I think it makes my new transient room so much nicer. ;)

Les filles en Vogue

If you do not own a June issue of Vogue Paris yet, rush to the nearest international press shop and try to get hold of one. Last night I watched the DVD "Les filles en Vogue" which comes with the magazine and I enjoyed it soo much.

birthday impressions

It was my birthday a few days ago. I had a great time with my family, friends, champagne and lots of cake. I loved that my presents were wrapped in red and white dotted paper and decorated with smarties - I felt like I just turned 4. I got more "picture books" (by Tim Walker, Tina Berning, the Sartorialist, and others), a Cath Kidston bag, vintage jewellery, flowers, great music, and something that I'll show you later. ^__-
And I still can't believe we had this amazing weather for my birthday picnic (sunshine all day long)! That's what I call lucky.

Cakes, cakes, Cakes

Tomorrow will be all about cake - I can't wait!
If you're equally passionate about small colourful sugary pastries as me, you should definitely have a look at Ming makes cupcakes, try to make as many of them as possible, and then invite all of your friends over - or the other way round.
All of the above pictures by Ming.
