I wanted to try something out with crayons, this is the result.
You can find more of my little drawings here.

Rilakkuma Souvenirs from Tokyo

I have to admit I am a big fan of cute toys from Japan. One of the many characters I adore is "Rilakkuma", the relax bear. Today, somebody made my day by sending me a little parcel of Rilakkuma-souvenirs from Tokyo. I love them!

Coral lips

When the launch of Chanel's "Rouge Coco" lipstick caused that incredible uproar and you saw the colour palette in every magazine/blog, I became curious: I own lipgloss in all shades of colour but I had not worn any lipstick since I first experimented with my mother's make-up (apart from one exception in classic red). Still, I love the ladylike feel of lipstick and I wanted to try it again.
So, yesterday, I bought an amazing coral shade ("Téhéran") and while in the Chanel beauty department I naturally used the opportunity to try some other colours as well. My favourite one is the flashy "Rouge Allure - Génial", a limited edition that was launched this month. It's the ideal colour for those Here-I-am!-Look-at-me!-moments.

Fantastic Foxes

I went to see "Fantastic Mr. Fox" this week (I know, it was in the cinemas ages ago in the UK and it's probably out on DVD since January, but for some reason you have to wait another 6 months in other European countries - well, what can you do, eh?)
Anyway, I loved the film, especially the kind of edgy movements and looks of the characters. I really want to make my own stop-motion-film now.

日本の旅行

I can't stop thinking about Japan. It's been far too long since I was there and I think I've got to go back as soon as I can. When looking at the photos I took on my last trip the wanderlust is almost killing me.

White space

Here are some pictures that, combined, show you what the appartment of my dreams would look like (plus all my little things, souvenirs and weird collectibles). Well, ideally, I'd have more than one appartment, of course, so that I can realise all my interior-design aspirations - I'll show you more ideas later.

Every time I go to an antique market I look for an old wooden drawer but my search hasn't been successful yet.Pictures via Greige Design.

I love the lamps in this appartment. Pictures found here

Obviously, I'd need space for the millions of drawings, illustrations and prints I own. Picture from here.

Sometimes we like it girly

If you ask me, sometimes it's got to be a pleated skirt, overknee socks, pumps and bows.
I love the above looks - if you own any of the photos, let me know. I can't remember where I found them, sorry.

Elephant Gun

Just in case anyone has not seen this brilliant music video yet ... (by the way, ruffled can-can knickers rock!)

In the country

I am spending the weekend in the countryside. Here's what I'd like to wear to go on a photo tour:
bow dress by Marc by Marc Jacobs, blue dress by Alice by Temperley, rings by Yves Saint Laurent, Monica Vinader (blue stone) and Alex Monroe (clover), necklace by Chloé, denim jacket and hat by Topshop, shoes (high) by Urban Outfitters, shoes (low) by Burberry, bag by Proenza Schouler, camera by Leica.
