Primary Colours
Not only Chanel but many other fashion houses are featuring bags in primary colours this season.
Top row: Mulberry Alexa Bag, Miu Miu Bow Bag, Proenza Schouler PS1 Bag.
Bottom row: See by Chloé slouchy bag, Balenciaga Arena Pompon Bag, See by Chloé Grasshopper bag.
My favourites are the Mulberry and the Balenciaga bags.

Blue Flaps
I am totally in love with the colours of the Chanel Cruise collection handbags (especially since I got my hands on them in a store last weekend). That blue is my new favourite - classic but much more exciting than the black classic flap. Divine!

Viktor & Rolf cutting-edge dresses in Dazed
The current issue of Dazed & Confused contains an amazing photo shoot of Viktor & Rolf's cut-out tull ballgowns. They look surreal. I love how Viktor and Rolf always manage to come up with something surprising and offbeat. But I wonder if anyone is going to wear one of those dresses in real life...

Charlotte Kemp Muhl & Sean Lennon
Charlotte & Sean attending the Chanel S/S 2010 show in Oct 2009.
Looking great with eccentric hats at a fashion show...
...and after one of their gigs in New York.
In New York in Feb (left) and in Paris in Oct 2009 (right).
When it comes to playfulness in fashion and harmonising looks, model/actress/singer Charlotte Kemp Muhl and her boyfriend musician Sean Lennon are certainly in the Top League. I love their finely attuned vintage/costume style.
I have just read a feature about Charlotte in Vogue UK but unfortunately they did not say much about Sean, although I think that the two really make an outstandingly cool couple. Their music isn't bad either but if you ask me, it's their fashion style that really deserves attention.

Wolf Jumper
Although I was fascinated by the rise of the trashy wolf T-shirt to the status of a streetstyle star, that shirt never made it into my wardrobe. But when I saw this jumper in the H&M men's department it was love at first sight. It's probably the warmest one I have and I want to wear it all the time.
Hypem Music Zeitgeit
Hypem has put together a list of the top 50 music artists of 2009 - and they asked 50 visual artists to create a logo/illustration for each band. You can see the results here!
(Several of my personal favourites made it on the list).
Pictures belong to the respective artist.

Kitty Coat
I got a new winter coat in the sale (and thanks to the snow it's not even too late for that yet)! It's from French Connection and I love the dress-like shape. Unfortunately, the price is even further reduced now compared to what I payed, but I'm still really happy to have it. And since I'm just showing you new clothes, here's my new skirt from Zara. It's rather typical for me, I have to admit, but I couldn't resist. :)

Vintage & Fur
Since it has been snowing for days I dug out my old (faux) fur jacket. Hm, cosy! The silk scarf, belt, and bag are vintage, the striped shirt and jeans are from Topshop.

Come away with me
Sorry for my absence. I am currently preparing for my final exams and musn't let myself be distracted by the internet. ;)
What I can't get off my mind, though, are travel plans for 2010 (the list of itenaries is growing daily). And I thought I could use a new weekender bag to accompany me on those trips.
The bag of my dreams would be Sofia Coppola's bag for Louis Vuitton (which I already had on my wish list for Christmas), but since I cannot just spend 2.400 € on a bag at the moment, I was looking for a nice alternative.
Clockwise from top: Holdall from Boss Black, around 360 € in the sale, weekender from Manzoni, around 218 € , "birch" weekend bag from Equip, around 180 €, suede weekender from Manzoni, around 174 €. Which one is your favourite?
